Understanding the Ministry of Helping

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

God has called, chosen and commissioned every believer to carry out the ministry of helping people

The Help ministry is not for some special individuals, ministry or church; IT IS FOR ALL.

1 John 4: 19- 21, says, “We love, because He first loved us. If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

The basic focus of a man’s destiny is helping our fellow human”.

The reason why God gave us all the gifts and blessings to us is not for personal consummation or satisfaction, but for the purpose of impacting and adding value to people’s life.

God said, “We must go and help to in trials”. This is the believers’ commission. This is our mission on earth.

Any vision that does not impact or add value to people’s lives is not a kingdom vision…it is a vision from God!

The Joy of living…is helping.

The best way to become a positive change agent is by helping people.
The most effective way to transform our society is becoming interested in people and genuinely work to see change happen in their lives.

What is your ministry’s vision and mission?

What is your goal in life?

We must have a shift today…from I, ME and SELF and begin to focus on people…

Sacrificial living is the best life to live.
