LESSON TEXT: EXODUS CHAPTER 5 AND 6.
God is a
faithful God and He is Unchangeable Changer.
Malachi chapter 3 verse 6 "I am the LORD, and I
do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed”.
His Power is unlimited and there is no distance
barrier for the working power of His Living Word.
Where ever you are reading this article; you are about
to have a WORD ENCOUNTER that will set your life and destiny on a new course of
glory and victory.
On the brink of crossing over into year 2015, the Lord
told me, “The Egyptians you see today, you will see them never again”. He went
further to tell me that shall be a year
of Victory and New Song for His Children. Praise the Lord!
Today on this Word of Empowerment session, I will be
addressing the lesson: Experience Divine Deliverance and Breakthrough.
Very early in the morning of Thursday 15th
of January 2015, The Lord gave me a revelation. He told me that His children
must take hold of His Word as a Sword in order to confront and conquer the
enemy that has held them in slavery and bondage for so many years.
John chapter 10 verse 10 says “The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly”.
We have been on the defensive in our spiritual battle
with the devil and his agents.
But, today there is going to be a divine shifting.
It is time to receive divine empowerment to break camp
and wreck havoc in our enemies’ territory.
It is time for every of God’s children to catch fire
and become a consuming fire like in the days of Elijah.
God is saying to His children, “TAKE UP THE SWORD OF
THE SPIRIT, NOT JUST THE SHEILD OF FAITH, AND BREAK INTO THE TERRITORY OF THE
ENEMY AND CLAIM YOUR POSSESSIONS”.
God’s will is to, once again, raise a JOSHUA GENERATION.
Listen to Joel chapter 2 verse 3 to 11:
A fire devoureth before them; and
behind them a flame burneth: the land is
as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea,
and nothing shall escape them.
The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses;
and as horsemen, so shall they run.
Like the noise of chariots on the
tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that
devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Before their face the people shall be
much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
They shall run like mighty men; they
shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone on his
ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
Neither shall one thrust another;
they shall walk everyone in his path: and when
they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
They shall run to and fro in the
city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they
shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
The earth shall quake before them;
the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars
shall withdraw their shining:
And the LORD shall utter his voice
before his army: for his camp is
very great: for he is strong that
executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is
great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
Also in Matthew chapter 11 verse 12, the Bible says, ‘And
from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence
and the violent takes it by force”.
The Book of Mark chapter 3 verse 27 declares that, “no
one is able to enter a strong man's house and steal his property unless he
first ties up the strong man. Then he can thoroughly plunder his house”
The First principle to experiencing divine deliverance
is to act like Moses:
The bible says in Exodus chapter 5 verses 1 “And afterward Moses
and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my
people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
You may ask, ‘what did Moses do?”
MOSES TAKE UP THE WORD OF GOD AND CONFRONT HIS ENEMY PHARAOH.
Never confront your enemy in battle without first
receiving a THUS SAITH THE LORD. The Word is the Sword of the Spirit. This is
the only offensive weapon that devil can submit to in order to let us go free.
The Power of Divine Deliverance
We cannot experience the abundance life Jesus Christ has
given us through His mighty victory on the cross except we have encountered the
blessing of divine deliverance.
Isaac told Esau in Genesis 27:40, “And by thy sword
shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when
thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
Many of God’s Children, like the Children of Israel in
time of old, are living at the mercy of the devil. Many are suffering from the
different kinds of yokes and curses, ranging from sickness, poverty,
barrenness, demonic possession, failure and so on.
When we experience the power of deliverance, then we
can enjoy the fullness of God and His benefits.
Moses said in Exodus chapter 5 verses 1, that Pharaoh
should let the people of God go so that they can make a feast unto God. Did you
get that? A FEAST! As long as a child of God is under the yoke of bondage, he
or she cannot enjoy the party, fellowship and pleasure in God’s presence.
Then in verse three of the same chapter five, Moses
also said Pharaoh should let the people of God go so that they can make
sacrifice unto God. Our sacrifice unto
God is our worship and service we render to Him. We cannot give God our
excellent service when we are under the yoke of sin, addiction or demonic
oppression.
The nature of divine deliverance is that there will be
a reaction from the devil or his agent. You cannot expect a roller coaster ride
when it comes to spiritual warfare.
When Pharaoh our enemy tries to question us or our
God, we must proclaim Jehovah’s Name at his face!
As God’s children we must have knowledge of our God.
This is the secret of divine deliverance.
When Moses declared the news of the children of
Israel’s deliverance to Pharaoh, He had to also proclaim the NAME OF HIS GOD.
This is the scenario that took in the Book of Psalms
chapter 24 verses 7 to 10:
Lift up your heads,
O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory
shall come in.
Who is this
King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads,
O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of
glory shall come in.
Who
is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.
We
must proclaim the NAME OF JESUS AS WE CONFRONT OUR ENEMIES
Another
nature of divine deliverance is that: IT IS A PROCESS.
Divine
deliverance goes beyond falling under the anointing, rolling or crying.
Divine
deliverance is a process. It is not a one-time event. There must be a reaction
from Satan.
God’s
children must be patient when God is bringing them deliverance and
breakthrough.
Check
out Pharaoh’s reaction towards Moses:
The Bible says in Exodus
chapter 5 verses 5 to 9, And Pharaoh said,
Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from
their burdens.
And Pharaoh
commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers,
saying,
Ye shall no more
give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather
straw for themselves.
And the tale of the
bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not
diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry,
saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
Let there more work
be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard
vain words.”
In trying to gain freedom from any satanic bondage,
whether sin or sickness, you may encounter failure, defeat or discouragement at
first, second or even third attempt. This is where the force of faith comes to
play. We must never give up when it comes to spiritual battles.
Think about this:
Daniel fasted and prayed for twenty one days before he
received an answer.
Elijah had to pray seven times before he saw the
abundance of rain manifested.
Naaman had to bath seven times before he was delivered
from leprosy
The devil will not let go without a fight. But he is a
defeated foe!
In the deliverance process, we may encounter an EVIL
CASE.
Exodus chapter five verses nineteen point an important
issue we need to look at.
It says,“And the officers of
the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case,
after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your
daily task.”
What is an evil case?
It is a
set-back encountered during the deliverance process. Whatever form this evil
case may come, you must understand that it is for your good. God want you to
trust Him.
Isaiah 55 verses 8 says, “For my thoughts are
not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD
And Jeremiah 11 verses 29 say, “For I know the
thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of
evil, to give you an expected end.
It is TIME TO RETURN TO GOD…
Isaiah chapter 55 verse 7 says, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his
thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he
will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
God is calling His children all over the world to
return to Him if they want solution to their problems and answer to their
questions.
YOU CAN’T TALK ABOUT A SUCCESSFUL DELIVERANCE WITHOUT
FIRST TURNING AND RETURNING TO GOD.
We must return to our first love. We must return to
bethel, where we first encounter God. We must return from all our backsliding.
This is when we can have a breakthrough in our
deliverance process.
Bible says in Exodus 5 verse 22, that Moses returned
to the Lord to seek for solution and answer.
When God’s children depend on God alone…He will make a
way when there seems to be no way.
Today, I have a prophetic Word from the throne of
Grace.
YOUR SEASON OF BREAKTHROUGH AND FREEDOM IS HERE…
I will tell you some of the things you will experience
in this wonderful season.
God told Moses, and He is saying that you today…
Number one: You will
experience God’s strong Hand. The Hand of God will release His unlimited power
for your total deliverance and breakthrough.
Exodus chapter 6 verses 1 says, “Then the LORD said
unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong
hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his
land.
Number two: God will prove Himself to you this season
which will lead to your breakthrough.
Exodus chapter 6 verse 2
says, “And God spake unto
Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto
Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by
my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
It is time to see God in a
new dimension. This divine visitation of God will cause a mighty growth in your
spiritual life.
Number
three: God will establish His covenant in your life.
Exodus chapter 6 verse 4 to 6 says, “And I have also
established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of
their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
And I have also
heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in
bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
Wherefore say unto
the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from
under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage,
and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments”.
God has reveal in His Word that He has a covenant of
deliverance, redemption and possession with His children.
Number four: God will be your portion and inheritance
as experience deliverance.
Exodus
chapter 6 verse 7 and 8 says, “And I will take you
to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am
the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the
Egyptians.
And I will bring you
in unto the land, concerning that which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to
Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the
LORD.
LET
THIS WORD OF EMPOWERMENT BIRTH A NEW DAWN IN YOUR LIFE
I
SEE GOD BRINGING FORTH VICTORY, FREEDOM AND BREAKTHROUGH IN YOUR LIFE.
