·         The Will of God is not about what you will gain; but it is about what you will give. Selfishness is an enemy of the Will of God.

The Triumph of Faith

Lesson Text: Hebrews 11: 32- 40

“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is Victory that has overcome the world, even our FAITH.”  --1 John 5: 4

Introducing the Lesson

Life is a battlefield.

There is always a battle between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.

The only fight believers are permitted to fight is called ‘the fight of faith’.

The victory has been won by Jesus Christ on the cross, but it takes faith to possess and experience that victory.

Faith means to believe the Word of God and to act on it.

The only way a child of God can experience a life of victory and success, is when he develops a winning Faith.

What is Winning Faith?

A winning Faith is the faith that triumphs.
A winning Faith is a faith that conquers.
A winning Faith sees God as bigger than any problem or circumstance.
A winning faith is the faith that moves mountains.
A winning Faith is a faith that goes through sword and persecution and refuses to compromise.

You cannot develop a winning Faith except you learn to depend totally of God. (Read Jeremiah 17: 5-8)

Without a winning Faith you can never enter into the fullness of God’s blessings.
Without a winning Faith you can never experience divine promotion in life.

Unbelief and doubt is a sin against God.
Prayer without faith is powerless and fruitless.

How to Triumph in Faith

1.       Practice the command of faith. Learn to speak with the authority in the Word of God.  Your words are able to save, heal or deliver you. For you shall eat the fruit of your tongue.
Faith does not accept a situation; it causes change!

2.       Learn to pray the prayer of faith. Learn to activate the promises of God’s word.
You must be persistent in prayer.

Word of wisdom: It takes prayer and determination for you to climb your mountain.

3.       Learn to take a step of faith. Remember the story of the four lepers. Your faith will triumph when you act on the word of God.
4.       Practice seed-faith. I mean, you should learn to sow the right seed that will speak for your miracles.

How to Build a Winning Faith

1.       Learn to Study your bible always. The word of God is the source of Faith (Romans 10:17)

2.       Live of life of praise and thanksgiving unto God. Complaining and murmuring will only destroy your faith.  (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
3.       Live of life of purity. Blessed are the pure in heart. (Matthew 5:8) The blessing of Faith is not for sinners, it is for the saints.
4.       Learn to fast and pray always. It will help you to be strong in the spirit to be able to defeat doubt and unbelief.

Remember, Faith is a seed…it must be develop for it to triumph over the battles of life.
